On the 19th November, at the University of Minho, a meeting was held with businessmen from the textile industry, at the initiative of the Mayor of Guimarães. Domingos Bragança aims at strengthening multidisciplinarity and increase knowledge transfer to industry.
Paulo Flores, professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho, was appointed editor-in-chief of the international scientific journal "Mechanism and Machine Theory", one of the main publications in the technological-scientific domain of machine and mechanisms.
The invitation was sent by the EU Policy Lab, a part of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission – to invite 2 to 4 students from Textile Engineering education programmes to participate in a workshop on the future of this scientific area.
Several researchers joined in Braga, at the Lúcio Craveiro Library, on the 27th November, sharing a common goal: CEB Talk is an event promoted by the Centre of Biological Engineering of the UMinho.
